WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
JUDGING DAIRY EXHIBITS.
PREPARATIONS FOR TUESDAY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, hursday. Great interest is being taken in the Waikato Winter Show, which opens on Tuesday. Tho Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, intimated to-day that he would be unable to bo present at the opening. Tho ceremony will be performed by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Hon. J. G. Cobbe.
A large staff of Government graders, is busily engaged in judging the 600 boxes of butter and 300 crates of cheeso that have been entered in tho dairy produce section. The judging is expected to be completed by the end of the week. In all the other departments of the show officials and employees are extremely busy preparing the stands for the reception of the exhibits.
A special train will leave Auckland at 7.56 a.m. on Tuesday and will arrives in Hamilton in ample time to enable visitors from tlio city to attend the opening function and return tho same day.
