FARMERS' UNION PROTESTS.

Union to-day took exception to the practice of magistrates and justices in ordering convicted rogues, vagabonds and similar offenders to leave town immediately, which meant that they were thrown upon country districts where farmers}; . wives and children were often left unprotected all day. The position wast described as scandalous and. it was decided to communicate with the Jimistcr of Justice in protest
