BIBLE TRAINING.
WORK OF THE INSTITUTE,
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute was held in the Baptist Tabernacle last evening. The Rev. J. W. Kemp presided over a large attendance in the absence of the president of the institute, Mr. R. L. Stewart. The annual report stated there was a small credit balance on the year's operations. The work of training students for foreign mission service had proceeded satisfactorily. The following directors were re-elected: —Mr. R. L. Stewart (chairman), the Rev. J. W. Kemp, Dr. W. H. Pottit, Messrs. A. F. Ellis, R. A. Luidlaw, W. J. Mains and Bruce Scott. Items were rendered during the evening by the students' choir, and addresses were given by the following students: — Misses M. V. McGregor and B. M. Byars, and Messrs. T. Thomson and P. A. Guinness. The dean of the institute, Mr. Charles J. Rolls, gave a stirring address.
