CYCLING ACCIDENTS.
crashes on dirt tracks. TWO RIDERS FATALLY HURT. LONDON, May 12. There were seven serious crashes on British dirt tracks yesterday, two of them being fatal. J. P. Stockdale was racing Preston, who fell while turning a corner. The competitor immediately following, by desperately throwing himself into a skid, avoided the prostrate figure, but another rider, whose view was obscured, rode over Preston's neck. Preston died in hospital. Walter Brown, riding at .Edinburgh, got into a wobble while going at 30 miles an hour, and crashed. He died en route to tho hospital. There were five smashes on London dirt tracks. Among those who fell was Max Grosskruetz, who skidded and turned a somersault. He is suffering from concussion and a strained shoulder. An Australian, Hilary Buchanan, was injured at Harringay,
