LARGE AUCKLAND QUOTA,

TOTALS FOR DOMINION, ALLOTMENTS FOR TWO MONTHS. Of the dairy produce to be shipped from the Dominion between May 25 and July 20, the Auckland Province will contribute over 58 per cent, of the butter and nearly 14 per cent, of the cheese. Following are details of the allotments, the table showing the date of departure of steamers from New Zealand, the due date of arrival in the United' Kingdom, and the number of boxes of butter and crates of cheese to be shipped from Auckland, and the total from all Dominion ports. The figures for butter are given above those for cheese in each instance:—

Although some dairying districts in Victoria were still in need of rain at the end of April, the outlook generally is ; the most promising for many years.
