The first New Zealand junior hard court tennis championship tournament was continued to-day on the indoor courts of the Winter Show Association. In the boys' singles H. R. Escott (Canterbury). J. Bradley (Wangamu), M. Perkins (Wellington) and W. G. Robertson fSoutb Canterbury) have reached the last eight. In the girls' singles two girls only ha vo reached the last eight, Joan Ward (Taranaki) and 1. Morrison (Canterbury). In the boys' doubles those who have reached the semi-finals are:—-Roussell and Perkins (Wellington). Robertson and Gallagher (South Canterbury), Brownlee and Milne (Auckland).
