CASH AND STOCK TAKEN. [BY TELEGRAPH.—rRESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORTH. Wednesday. Burglars last evening raided two shops at Terrace End. From the premises c-f Mr. D. Clinton, hairdresser, a sum of £2O is said to have been stolen, as well as cigarettes. From Mrs. Gadwin's confectionery shop some stock was taken, but its value is not ascertainable. No monev had been left in the till. Entranco was effected by smashing a window above the door of Mr. Clinton s premises and the side window of the confectionery shop.
