PATRIOTISM IN TRADE.
NEW ZEALAND-MADE GOODS. An address entitled "The National Significance of Giving First Preference to New Zealand-made Goods" was g;ven bv Mr. W. R. Ragnall, an ex-member of the Legislative Assembly ■ ot New South Wales, at a luncheon held by the Ivarangaluipc Road Business Promotion Society yesterday. Tho president, Mr. M. J. Bennett, presided. Mr Bagnall said New Zealanders were as remiss as the people of any other country in buying their own goods. The most effective method of establishing business prosperity was to buy the goods of . one's own countrv,. It was a simple and easy form of practical patriotism which came within reach of all.
