JERSEY CATTLE BREEDERS.
SCALE OF TESTING FEES. NEW SYSTEM FAVOURED. Lt;y telegraph.—own coukespondent.] I'AEROA, Tuesday. The Thames Vallev Jersey Breeders' Club, after discussion, unanimously adopted the following resolutions:— That this club supports the Dannevirke Club's proposal that the New Zealand Jersey Breeders' Association be requested lo pay half of the entrance fee of £8 8s on the first cow tested, in lieu of the present method of subsidising cows on tho production basis and that the Department of Agriculture be requested to reduce fees after the first cow tested from £3 3s to 10s 6d per cow up to the dirst 20 in each herd A remit was received from the Minamata Club to the effect that any breeder holding an unreserved sale should not be allowed to register any progeny from Ftock sold at that sale for 12 months and 1 hat all cattle sold at auction must be transferred. It was decided to suppoit the Matarnata remit and as a safeguard lo vendors to add : "That the Jersey Association be requested to hold transfers on terms of sales until the deal is complete.
