IMPROVEMENTS TO ROAD.
HAMILTON-RAGLAN ROUTE. [fir TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Monday. The expenditure of a further £IOOO has been authorised by the Minister of Public Works, lion. E. A. Ransom, on improvements to the Hamilton-Raglan Road, between Te Uku and Raglan. During the past two years extensive improvements in easing corners and widening the thoroughfare have been effected on Iho deviation part of the road.
