HOME-MADE PAINT REMOVER.

When a paint remover will not have any effect on the paint, caustic soda will do the job; with boiling water containing a strong solution of caustic soda, scrub the paintwork twice, thoroughly and hard. After a final scrubbing with Boap and water, the paint will bo removed, and a staining preparation can be satisfactorily applied.
