BUILDING AT WHANGAREI.
TENDERS TO BE CALLED.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. WHANGAREI, Thursday.
Tenders for the reconstruction of and additions to the Whangarei post office, estimated to cost over £BOOO, aro to be called immediately, according to ndvico received by Mr. A. J. Murdoch, M.P., from the Postmaster-General, Hon. J. B. Donald. The Minister has intimated that he -will come to Whangarei and lay the cornerstone of tho new building. He will at the same time avail himself of the opportunity to inspect other parts of the district.
