Sloping operations on the 100 ft block opened up on the Stockwood reef n't the 400 ft level will be commenced (his week. One more pass will complete the block. A few strong leaves of gold were seen in a portion of tho main reef when cuttins; out for timbers for the No. 2 pass. The unwatering of the new portion of tile Haurnki shaft, below the -100 ft level will be resumed to-day.
