EX-GOVERNOR OF FIJI.
SIR EYRE HUTSON'S VISIT.
Sir Eyre Ilutson, who has retired from the position of Governor of Fiji, and High Commissioner for tho Western Pacific, arrived from Suva by tho Aorangi last evening. During his short stay in Auckland Sir Eyre will be the guest of tho Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alico Fergusson at Government House. lie' will leave fo\f Sydney by the Aorangi this evening, on his way to England. Sir Eyre Hutson has had 44 years in tho Colonial Service, having occupied many important positions, including that of Governor of British Honduras. For 10 years he was Colonial Secretary at Fiji. v.
