WEDDINGS.
The wedding was solemnised at St. Mary's Church. Raetihi, on Wednesday,: of Miss Marjories May, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T., May, of Raetihi, to Mr. Harry Williams, second son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Williams, cf Thames. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. Batson. The bride were a gown of pale pink georgette over crepe de" chine and a veil arranged with & wreath of orange blossoms Her bouquet was of pale pink and cream chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid, Miss Merle Harvel, wore a frock of pale pmk georgette and lacs with a silver head-dress,, and earned a bouquet of pink and cream chrysanthemums. Miss Gwen Scar, in a frilled frock ot pink georgette, was trainhearer. Mr. H. SLneebcne was best man and Mr. W. May groomsman. '
WESTON-ARNOLD—CARROLL: At St. Patrick's Cathedral, Auckland, the marriage was solemnised last week of Miss Kathleen Anne Carroll:; second daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. LCarroll, of Hawera, and Mr. Thomas William Weston-Arnold,' of Hsrne Bay, Kent. England. The officiating priest was the Rev. Father McKeefry, The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a gown of smoke grey satin cut to fit the figure at the hips-and falling in a long, full flare. With it was worn" a soft grey felt hat lined and trimmed with parma violet. Her Sowers were violets and mauve asters. sfisa Winifred Lamb was in attendance and wore a frock of parma violet crepe de chine with light 'touches of grey. Her wide grey felt hat was trimmed with, ribbon" of the same tone and she carried a bouquet of coral pink gerheras and carnations. Sir. Ernest Farreil, "of Wellsford, attended the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Quin, Eltham, acted as host and hostess at a luncheon party at the Grand Hotel.
