DANCING AT DIXIELAND.

Brightness and enjoyment characterised the gathering at Dixieland on Saturday eveninc. a Large number of dancers being present. The shaded lights and artistic decorations of the cabaret made an attractive background for the many pretty frocks that were worn. Bowls cf golden zinnias and fems were arranged on the tables and added to an effective colour scheme. The Auckland Aero Club officials and visiting pilots who took part in the air pageant during the afternoon srers the guests of the management. The cups and prizes that had been won were presented to the winners during the evening by Mrs. Keith Caldwell, wife of Major Caldwell, captain of the Auckland Aero Club. The Dixieland Orchestra, under Mr. H. Neilson, played popular and new dance numbers.
