NEW COURT BUILDINGS.
STRUCTURE AT HAMILTON.
TENDERS SOON TO BE? CALLED.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent. 1 HAMILTON, Sunday. Tenders have been called for the new courthouse at Hamilton. The present building is out of date and the accommodation is regarded as inadequate. After considerable agitation a grant was made by Parliament last year and it was decided to erect the new building in Anglesea Street, at the rear of the Anglican Cathedral. The main buildings of the new courthouse will cover an area about 150 ft. by 130 ft. There will be an imposing entrance and two main court rooms, each 50ft. by 30ft. Adequate accommodation will be provided for the public and for witnesses.
