COMPENSATION WANTED.
NEW ZEALANDER'S COMPLAINT.
MELBOURNE, April 18
The Police Department has agreed to pay the faro to Now Zealand of Joseph Viscoo, tho New Zealander who was wrongfully arrested and detained as a rosult of the disappearance of Leslie Williams, tho electrician who was thought to havo been murdered, but who eventually returned to his home in Sydney. Viscoe says ho feels aggrieved and considers lie is entitled to at least £6OO compensation.
