MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB. The ofliciu opening of the Maungakiekie Golf Club's season will be held to-morrow. Mixed foursomes will be played against the scratch score of (ho course. Members will he (he guests of the president, and captain during tho afternoon.
GLEXDOWIE CLUB. Tho Glendowio Coif Club 'will open its season to-morrow with a medal handicap for mixed foursomes, players to choose their own partners and opponents.
OTA HUH U CLUB. Tlij opening of the Otahuhu Golf Club's season will take place to-morrow, when mixed foursomes will be played. Players may choose their own partners and opponents will b drawn.
TITIRANGI LADIES' CLUB. The best cards returned in the bogey match played by members of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club yesterday were as follows: Seniors: Airs. The Rotorua ladies' golf tournament was concluded to-day, the winner being Miss M. Pavton, who defeated her sister. Miss S. Pay toil, 4 and 3. in the final. The semi-final in the morning resulted:— Miss M. Payton defeated Mrs. Nolan. 2 up; Miss S. Payton defeated Mrs. J. M. Wilson. 3 and 2.
In the afternoon the Misses PaytVin met in the final. The first three holes went to Miss M. Payton, and the fourth to Miss S. Payton. The next was won by Miss M. Payton. The rain, which began about this staire, was making play difficult. At the, tenth hole Miss S. Payton had reduced her opponent's lead to two. but at lite thirteenth Miss M. Payton was 4 up. Rain was now falling heavily. The next two holes were halved, and the game ended in Miss M. Pnyton's favour, 4 and 3.
