NOT TO DRIVE AGAIN.

LICENCE CANCELLED FOR LIFE.
When Tom Woodcock, aged 63, a poultry farmer and butcher, of Bnrt-on Fen, Lincoln, pleaded guilty at Lincoln a few weeks ago to being drunk in charge of a motor-cat, hs asked the bench to suspend his licence for the rest, of his life. The magistrate granted his request and also fined him £lO. It was stated that Woodcock's car mounted a pavement and knocked down an electric feeder pillar, causing a great flash and a loud report. But for the rubber tyres the occupa.nts of the car would probably have been, electrocuted.
