WHANGAREI. Wednesday
Referring to a proposal that the Wha ngarei County Council building should he acquired for a new public library, Mr. Brainsby announced at a meeting of the Whangarei Borough Council last evening that the suggestion had been carefully considered by the Library Committee, and in view of the limited size and tho in adaptability of tho building for a modern public library, the committee could not recommend it to the further consideration of the council.
