CLERGYMAN'S JUBILEE.
ARCHDEACON MacMURRAY.
THE VISIT TO IRELAND
[FROM Ol"R own correspondent.] LONDON, Feb. 21. "Archdeacon Mac Murray, of Auckland, is about to arrive in Ireland with his wife, and both are certain to experience a very cordial welcome," says the. Belfast Evening Telegraph.
"This visit to the Homeland will afford him the opportunity of renewing old friendships and cultivating fresh ones, for few are more endowed with the geniality and warmth so characteristic of ihe people of the Old Country, to which he has ever been closely Bound by the links of birth and memory. "The arrival of Archdeacon Mac Murray in Ireland will undoubtedly be taken advantage of not only by the clergy but also by the laity of the Church of Ireland and many others, to add to the felicitations so generously extended him on his ministerial jubilee, and welcome him back, after so many years of service overseas, to the land where lie first saw the light."
