APPOINTMENT TO STAFF.
[flY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. I WHANGAREI. Monday. At a special meeting of the House Committee of the Whangarei Hospital Board Dr. J. Rule, of Ruawai, was appointed assistant-medical superintendent of the hospital. Dr. Rule has been relieving housa surgeon. Tho appointment is subject to the approval of the Minister of Health.
