GRAFTON BRIDGE.
Sir,—To relieve the congestion, I would suggest that a cantilever be built outside for foot passengers and leave the whole bridge for traffic. Iron brackets could be fixed on one or hoth sides for one-way traffic and the footway need not be so wide as for two-way. The underground scheme at top of Queen Street is a very crude idea. J.S.L.
