KING MUCH BETTER.

CHAT WITH MR. BALDWIN. AFFAIRS OF THE STATE. Australian I'iess Association —United Service LONDON, March 27. For the first time since the King's illness His Majesty to-day received a member of the Government and took part in the affairs of the nation. This morning the Archbishops of Canterbury and York paid homage to the King. Dressed in a frock-coat, His Majesty walked to a loungo in Craigwell House and cordially greeted the Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, who formally introduced the Archbishops. The Queen had luncheon with the visitors. Mr. Baldwin was subsequently received by the King in his bedroom. He is understood to have discussed the general olection and other State business. A British official wireless message says the King passed a good night, but the weather at Bognor to-day was dull with a thick mist. His Majesty walked for a time this morning in the grounds and rested at intervals. He also walked along the sea wall in front of the house.
