UNIONS AND THE COURT, REGISTRATION REFUSED. (Received March 28, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 28. The Industrial Registrar to-day refused an application made by the Australian Seamen's Union as newly constituted by Mr. Tom Walsh for registration in the Commonwealth Arbitration Court. Subsequently he also refused an application from the Seamen's Union of Australia, of which Mr. Jacob Johnson is the secretary, for registration on the ground that it only represents a small section of the seamen employed on the Australian coasts.
