LAWN TENNIS.
EASTER HANDICAP TOURNEY. PLAY ABANDONED YESTERDAY. Although a start was made v.ith games in the Birkenhead and Northcoto Tennis Club's annual Easter handicap tournament yesterday, rain caused the abandonment of play for tho day before any games were completed. Play v. ill start at nine o'clock this morning. It was unfortunate that a day's play was lost yesterday as tho entries 'are greater than those of last year. Many outside players, including some from Taihape, Ifauraki Plains and Maungaturoto, are taking part in the tournament.
