PRIVATE BUSES TO RUN.
WESTERN SUBURBS ROUTE. CHANGE-OVER FROM TO-MORROW Private enterprise will cater fer the transport requirements of Henderson, Glen Eden and New Lynn after to-day, when the Auckland Transport Board will cease its services to the western suburbs beyond Avondale. This change is being effected in accordance with the decision made bv the board on January 30, and the services relinquished will be continued in substantially tho same form by the recently-formed Auckland Bus Company. To residents in the suburbs beyond the Whau River, the change will confer the convenience that buses will run '.through to the city, and the necessity for changing to tramcars at Surrey Crescent will be obviated. The buses of the new company will not pick up inward passengers between the Whau Bridge and tho city, and will not set down outward passengers between those points. The Transport Board's services will continue to cater for Avondale.
