BANKRUPTCY RETURNS.

INCREASE LAST MONTH. The month of March was an unusually heavy one for bankruptcies, there being 20 in Auckland, compared with 10 in Febiuary and 14 in tho corresponding month in 1928. Following is a comparison of the bankruptcy returns for the first three months of the last thrco years:— 1929. 1928. 1927. January .. .. The figures for Hamilton are not now included with Auckland.
