TRIBUTE TO BOARD MEMBER.

The following letter has been forwarded to Mr. F. S.. Morton, a. member of the Auckland Transport Board, by Mr.. J. \Yarren, clerk of the Mount Roskill Road ,Board:—"I have tho honour to couvey to you the board's sincere thanks in appreciation of your effort to establish some means of proper transport for Mount Roskill district. As you are aware, Mount lioskill is vory bndly sorved in tho matter of transport, and your timely action is much appreciated and endorsed by the members of tho Mount Roskill Road Board, who trust that your efforts in the interests of the district may bo successful."
