UNFORTUNATE BATSMAN.

TYLDESLEY AND BIG GAMES.

It is to be regretted that such a fine batsman as E. Tyldesley showed himself to be against the Australians in England has not been able to get more regular first-class cricket on this tour. He is a very fino player, but lias not had many chances to show it in the big events of the. tour. The main reason is that there are too many in the party.
