Sales of Blenheim Oil Company £1 shares were made in Australia and Now Zealand yesterday at up to £6 10s. 'J lie shares were first in demand in New Plymouth on Monday, when sales were made at £1 15s, and next day parcels changed hands at £2, and later at £3 10s. Wednesday's quotations saw a further marked advance, and tho new high lovel of £6 10s was reached yesterday in sales in Sydney, Wellington and Christchurch, the highest sale rate in Now Plymouth being £6. Tho activity in Blenheim oil has been reflected in a revival of interest in tho shares of Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd.

In Sydney yesterday a parcel of 110 Blenheim oils found a buyer at £6 10s. Later a sale was made at £6, the price subsequently recovering to £6 ss. lara naki Oilfields changed hands at 7s 3d to 6s 9d. In Melbourne there were sales of Taranakis at 7s 6d and 7s 9d.

Marked activity for Blenheim oils was reported from Wellington yesterday. Sales were znado as follows, the order of salo not being indicated£6 10s (four parcels), £6 7s 6d (four parcels), £5 15s (three parcels), £5 10s (two parcels), £5 5s (one parcel) and £5 (one parcel). Ten parcels of Blenheim oils were sold on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday at £6 10s, while later two parcels changed hands at £5 18s. Sales were made in Taranaki Oils at rates ranging from 7s 10d to 7s 3d. In Dunedin sales of Blenheim Oils were mado at £5 10s and £5 15s.

The closing prices for Blenheim Oils on tho Taranaki Stock Exchange on Wednesday were, sellers £5 5s and buyers £4 15s. Yesterday tho closing selling prico was £6 10s. Three parcels wcro sold at £5 10s, two at £5 15s, and ono at £6. All the sales reported wcro parcels of 100.

Blenheim Oils were quoted on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday for the first time, sellers asking £6 10s, with buyers at £5 10s. There were no sales. Taranakis wcro sold at 7s and 6s 9d,
