TROUBLES OF STRIKERS.

POOR FINANCIAL OUTLOOK. SYDNEY. Feb. 7. The timber workers on strike are showing increasing mistrust in the efficacy of their organisation. They are anxiously awaiting the result of the special conference of the Australian Council of Trades Unions.

The members of the Strike Committee are worried by the possibility of a general strike on the coalfields. It is realised that the financial burden of two disputes, each on such an extensive scale, would be more than the trades union movement could support for any length of time.
