CLAIM BY TRAMWAY BOARD.
RESOLUTION BY MOTORISTS. [bt telegraph.—press association] CHPJSTCHURCH. Thursday. The members o£ the Canterbury Automobile Association discussed this evening the tramway board's claim to a share of the petrol tax. in respect of its burden of the upkeep of the tracks, which are used by motorists. A resolution was carried deprecating any liasty alteration being made in the allocation of the tax without full consi*" ition.
