FALSE REPRESENTATION.
WOMAN OBTAINS MONEY
PLEA OF GUILTY ENTERED
[BY TEt.EGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Thursday.
In tho Supreme Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Adams, Isabella Murch was charged that, with the intention to defraud the Citizens' Finance Company by a falso pretence, sho obtained £36 10s by representing that certain household goods belonged to her and had boon bought and paid for by hor. Sho was further charged with obtaining from Henry Divers £35 5s by representing that certain household goods belonged to hor and wore free of encumbrance.
A stay of proceedings was agreed to on tho first charge, and accused pleaded guilty to the second charge and was remanded for sentence.
