OIL VESSEL SOLD.

DISPOSAL OF THE RONAKI.

NORTHERN COMPANY'S PURCHASE

The oil vessel Konaki. owned by "Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, has been sold to the Northern Steamship Company, and possession of the vessel will probably be taken about the end of this week. The price has not been announced, but it is understood to be about £12,000. The Rouaki is a wooden vessel of 253 tons gross and is fitted with a 270 h.p. motor engine. She was built at Auckland for the cement company in 1922. No announcement has been made by the Northern Company as to what trade the vessei is to be utilised in.
