ROTARY LUNCHEON.
GIFT OF SILK BANNER. The weekly luncheon of the Auckland Hotary Club yesterday was presided over by the president, Mr. G. W. Hutchison. Mr. Hutchison outlined the work of tho year which the club was about to take up and stressed tiie duty of regular attendance at the weekly luncheons. He desired to see the membership increased to 150 by the end of the year. About twenty members notified their intention of attending the Rotary Conference in Christchurch at the end of the month.
Arrangements were made for flic necessary number of motor-cars for the entertainment next Monday afternoon of the English public school hoys, who arc to arrive here by the lonic. A very handsome silk club banner was presented to the club by Mr. Charles Rhodes on behalf of a group of club members who attended the Tokio Rotary Conference.
