THE HARBOUR BRIDGE.
Sir, —The opponents of the bridge project must be in desperate straits for an argument to support their views. The association has, hitherto, been compelled to combat the mistaken notion that the bridge will benefit only the four northern boroughs. Now your correspondent, North Auckland No. 2, raises the opposite objection, equally mistaken, that the bridge will be useless to those same "most populous areas." G.E.L.
