MAORI STORIES.
A bright and versatile writer with a gift tor story-telling, Mr. H. T. Gibson, now appears in the " Bright Story Readers " series published by Arnold and Son, Ltd. His contributions are " The Happy Heights of Honu " and a booklet of four Maori stories. Carefully constructed for grade 11. of juvenile readers, the stories quaintly blend Maori folk and fairy lore with much that is informative, and apart altogether from their ordinary purpose should stimulate a strong interest in Maori peoplo among pakeha school children everywhere. Excellent drawings illustrate the little works, upon which Mr. ipibson is to be congratulated;
