DISPLAY OF PAINTINGS. ||
AH readers x>t ** Boys and Girls " are invited to inspect an exhibition of the work sent in by our young artists in various painting competitions held during 1928. The paintings will be on view in the showcases on ths ground floor of the New Zealand Herald for ten days, from Wednesday, January 16, to Saturday, January 26. Many of the paintings show a high degree of artistic skill, and are representative of the best work sent in by members of " Boys and Girls" during the year. # Every entry has borne a guarantee of original work, the ages of the competitors ranging from six to sixteen. Country members of the Herald Circles, their % parents and friends, should make a point of seeing the display. Don't forget the dates, January 16 to January 26! £
