HELP FOR UNEMPLOYED
OFFER OF WORK REFUSED. UNION PRINCIPLES INVOLVED. SYDNEY, Dec. 22. Although there are 500 unemployed minors in tho T.ithgow district who are willing to work, the Miners' Federation has rejected the offer of the. Australian Iron and Steel Company to give temporary employment to at least 100 of these men. The secretary of the federation said that the proposal could not be entertained, as it would involve a breach of union principles.
