FOR THE CHILDREN.
SOME COOLING DRINKS, Raspberry Lemonade.—is an uncommon tliink. This is how it is made: —Take a pint oi tho ripe fruit, crush, and one quart of water. Orangeade.—J'col three sweet oranges and boil the thin rind with a pint of water to which has been added a pound of white sugar. This should boil till it becomes syrup. Then squeeze tho juice of the oranges and of ii ft eon others as well into a jug. sixain and mix with the cold syrup. Add three pints of coid water. Mix well. I'ut on ice before serving if possible. Another Method.—Cut up three oranges into slices. Sprinkle with §pz. of sugar. Four over it a quarter of a pint of water. Leave covered up for half an hour. Stir the mixture and add sufficient, cold water to make a quart. Strain it after it has stood another hour.
