OO £ ' CO ° O O The fairies heard from far away O O ° The morning star sjng " Christmas Day," O O 0 Then, streaming up the shining night, 0 O O Rejoicing in their starry flight, O O ° They fled away at morning's birth ° O q To sing of God through all the earth. O O O O q q If you should hear when evening falls, ® O O Some bird that ever softly calls „ O O O Between the starlight and the dew, 1 O q q Some drifting mist that sighs to you, 0 o o Some voice among the murmuring trees O ° ° That cannot only be the breeze, ° o o o § q Or some strange light along the skies 0 O O That burst* to flame ere yet it dies, C ° ° Pauae thou a moment, pause and dream, ° ' O o F° r Christ is near when lone we seem.
