Ideals are things to be lived for, not with. Jealousy is the suspicion of one's own inferiority. Marriage begins with a promise, and generally ends with a compromiso. Flattery is the best euro for a stiff neck. It will turn anybody's head. The self-made man relieves the Almighty of a lot of responsibility. A woman has no use for a secret sin; may not tell, or money that she cannot spend. Love may be blind at first, but after nine days it opens its eyes and has a gijod kink round. A lady lias just sought relief from (he matrimonial yoke because she has married a bad egg. Nowadays one can't live because of (ho nconie tax, and one daren't die because of the death duties. Many a woman who hurls herself at a nan's .head knows how el'l'ecl ivo it is to each a soft spot.
