Nicholson, manager for New Zealand of the National Mutual Life. Association of Australasia, Limited, has received the following cable messago from the head ulfko in Melbourne:— "The fifty-ninth annual general meeting of members was held on December If), 1928 The new business for tho yenr was exceptionally satisfactory, 20,728 new policies having been issued for £9,807,845 —1111 increase of £573,132 over ] the previous year's total. The ratio of expenses continues to show a, material decrease. Members may expect tu receive, their bonus certificates on or before March 1, 1929." This is a particularly satisfactory report, and the members have every reason to bo well satisfied with the wonderful progress the asswuation is making.
