MOTOR TOURING PARTIES.

CONDITION OF THE ROADS. A largo number of motor louring and camping parties were on the roads during the week-end, and traffic on the approaches tii Auckland was heavy. The Auckland Automobile Association received encouraging reports from the North last evening, and the clay roads in the vicinity of Tort Albert, Whangarei, Hokianga and Kaikohe were stated to be improving steadily. Fairly rough conditions still exist on the unmetalled sections of the East Coast Road, and the Automobile Association was advising the West Coast route through Helensville and Wellsford yesterday.
