LATE MRS. BEAUMONT.

CHURCH MEMORIAL SERVICE.

At (ho desire of ihe many friends of Mrs. Margaret Beaumont, widow of the late Archdeacon G. P. Beaumont, o£ Lawrence, Otago, who died suddenly on Saturday, a memorial service will bo held in St. Mary's Cathedral, Parnell, to-morrow, at 10.>30 a.m. During her residence m Auckland Mrs. Beaumont had given great service to the Anglican Church, particularly to the Mothers' Union, of which she was diocesan secretary and one of the most popular speakers. Sho wa.s also, in spite of advancing years, an active worker in St. Mary's cathedral parish. She had given a Christmas tree and treat to the qhildren of the kindergarten Sunday school on the afternoon of Saturday, apparently jn good health. She died suddenly on Saturday evening. The service will be conducted by Archbishop Averill, assisted by Canon Percival James and Archdeacon Mac Murray, a former vicar of St. Mary's. \
