FARMER FOUND DROWNED.

FALL INTO WAITOMO STREAM,

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORBESrOSDBKT.iI OTOROHANGA, Saturday. The body of Mr. Alan Sinclair, aged 64, who had been missing since mid-day yesterday, was recovered from the Wai« tomo Stream, a few miles below the Waw tomo Caves, at about nine o'clock thil morning. He had been at work on his farm, where ho bred pedigree pigs. Ha bad gone for water to the stream, as his bucket was found lying on the bank and traces of where ho must have slipped into the water were observed. At this point tho stream is 20ft. deep and is clogged with willow roots.

Deceased was a native of Scotland and went out to Australia and eventually to New Zealand, since the war. His wife died in Melbourne and ho is survived by a married daughter living in Australia.
