MOTORING FATALITY.
COLLISION ON! BRIDGE.
CAR FALLS OVER BANK. [nr TELEQKATII. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WAIMATE. Friday. A fatal collision between a motor-car and a motor truck occurred about four miles from Waimate at 7 o'clock last evening. The driver of tho car, Mr. William Alfred Charles Broad, aged 22, a grocer's assistant, was killed. He was driving a car containing his father and mother, who were returning from a bowling match at Waimate. Tho car struck tho truck on tho bridgo and plunged over tho bridge, through a wiro fence, and down a 14ft. bank. Broad's neck was broken. His mother had a collarbone broken, and his father received severe injuries to tho face.
