A reader asks for the above recipe:— Three largo lemons, 111), suet, 3 large baked apples, 21b., moist sugar, lib. stoned raisins loz. candied lnm6n peel, lib. currants, loz. candied orango peel, 2 tahlespoonfuls marmalade, 1 tcacupful brandy. Squeeze out tho juico and boil tho lemonV till tender enough to pulp; remove coro and skins of apples and chop the suet and peel finely. Mix all and place in a stone jar. Ready for use in two weeks.
